welcome to my newsletter! this is how i'm gonna be documenting any major updates to the site from now on, and also just talking about stuff going on behind the behind the scenes so look forward to that.
i started making this site as a catch-all of all my interests, from my art to my favorite media and also trying to build my client base as an artist. i love the look of this site and i'm so proud that i can say that i made it with my own two hands (and my handy dandy lil notebook that has all my notes from my codecademy lessons). i want to keep putting stuff on this site and expanding my hub.
i have been doing most of the coding outside of the neocities site because i like being able to see my changes in real time. it's how i troubleshoot any issues with optimization and also playing around with placements of my elements.i'm also trying to learn javascript so i can do more with the look of the site, but its been hard to find time to sit down and take notes. if you check out my resources page, you can see what stuff i used to learn how to code as a complete beginner. it's a bit of a learning curve but the more you do it the more it becomes muscle memory, as with all skills. anyways...
i've been enjoying the layout of my current site but i want to mess around with some different placements and maybe color palettes as well. i'm also working on making the site as accesible as possible by including alt-text to my images (still working on that), learning more about screen-readers, and more.
i want to make sure that not only is this site visually appealing, but navigatable as well. and as an artist i want everyone to be able to experience my works how ever they need to.
i'll be messing around with my site for a while, so if you see any spontaneous changes or broken links, don't worry, i'm working on it :P
